In the afternoons we suggest you participate in
cultural activities, such as flamenco lessons, visits to monuments or wineries,
trips to Cadiz or Seville, golf, or even an internship in a Spanish company
here in Jerez. With these types of activities you can practice your speaking
skills with Spanish native speakers and at the same time discover what the
Spanish life style is really like.
In the evenings there are many options to continue
with cultural activities, such as art exhibitions, cinema or concerts at the
Villamarta Theatre. But if you want to have a really good time you just have to
visit the bars or discos in Jerez.
Several local bars offer “Speaking Hours”, where
local Spaniards and foreign people meet up in a bar to improve their conversation
skills. Another idea could be go to a Tabanco sherry bar and taste all the
different type of Sherry wines, or go to a flamenco show - of which there are
so many in Jerez and most of them are free!
Our students have lots of ways to improve their
Spanish, meet new people and get to know the culture of Jerez. You will have a great time studying in Jerez
because you can find so many different things to do in this wonderful city.
